St. Pauls Church

St. Pauls ChurchLR+2

St. Pauls Episcopal Church on the corner of East and Matheson Streets in Healdsburg, CA is one block east of the town square. Built in the early 1900’s as a parish hall, but was relocated to it’s present site and the lower story was removed. The Church building wasn’t originally built as a church. A lovely little country church with an even lovelier all-wood interior.

I love this, Phil! And you captured the touch of fog that we had yesterday morning. I realized I did a sketch of this same church last August when I was in town for an appointment… I’d never noticed that detail across the front before I sketched it. Thanks Diane. It’s funny how the watercolor sort of does it’s thing… I must have been thinking about that fog that lifted just as I was sitting down to sketch.
